FAQ- Frequently asked questions.
Do I need to give you a house key?
If we need to go inside your home to take care of your pet then yes.

If you live in a house or condo then it's best for you to get a lock box or hide your key outside. Your
lock box can also be hidden or mounted on the side of your house to make it less visible.
Keeping a key at your house means getting more reliable service and greater flexibility when it
comes to scheduling. This is preferred by most of our customers.

If you live in an apartment building then you'll be restricted to schedule only certain services and
will have to contact us before scheduling anything out of the ordinary. We'll need two copies of
your keys- one for the dog walker and one for the office.

Note: Lock boxes can be found at any hardware store for about $20 or
online for little more. Make
sure you get one that requires a code/combination to open it.

How do you manage your pack at the dog park?
The pack usually sticks together, but some dogs like to go further ahead and others might
straddle behind. Usually all it takes it calling their names to get them to come back to where they
are supposed to be. Carrying treats helps too! Usually it requires minimal input once the dogs
learn the routine.

How many dogs do you take to the dog park at one time?
From 1 to 10 depending on compatibility.

Do I need to provide a harness?
Yes, if your dog is going to the dog park it must have a harness for safety reasons.

What if my dog is sick?
This is only a problem if your dog is scheduled to go to the dog park. If this is the case, let us
know immediately because we don't want to get the other dogs sick or have accidents in the car.
If your dog has diarrhea, is vomiting, etc it would be best to do leash walks until it's feeling better.

Which dog parks do you go to?
Magnuson mainly, but occasionally Golden Gardens aka. Greenwood.

What do you do on bad weather days?
All of the services run as normal rain or shine, but if there is snow and it's dangerous then we
don't go. Anytime the dogs get really dirty they get washed off before coming home. Day Camp is
reduced to two hours during the cold season, more for the sake of the dog walker then the dogs.
The dogs have a blast no matter what!

How you discipline dogs?
We are big advocates of positive reenforcement (using really good treats and praise) because
it's the fastest way to train dogs. Not only that, there are no negative side effects sometimes
found with negative reinforcement.

How do I setup my account & use my webpage?
Your webpage allows you to schedule and pay for services online. It also contains all sorts other
information that we need to do our job efficiently. Just follow the 5 steps below to properly setup
and start using your webpage.:

  1. Log in-
  • You'll get your login information before the 'meet and greet'. If you have any
questions your dog walker can help you while there. You can log in anytime, 24/7,
by going to www.waggydogs.com and clicking the "Log in" button.

  1. Account info-
  • "Owner info"- Make sure you fill out everything. Also, make sure you have the
"home phone number" and "work phone number" fields filled in. If you don't have a
home phone please input your cell # instead.
  • "Billing info"- We require all of our clients to have a credit card on file, so that we
can collect incase you forget to pay your bill. This is also how you pay your bills
automatically. When you enter your credit card info make sure you enter the name,
address, and phone number that corresponds with that card.
  • "Pet(s) info"- Make sure you fill in your pet's info individually for each of your pets.
There should only be one pet name per profile. To add another pet click 'add' at
    the bottom.

IMPORTANT: There is one very important box (see yellow arrow below) for you to
enter your lockbox, key, alarm code, and time window information. Try to keep this
info clear and concise. See below for an example.

  • Make sure you schedule each of your pets individually. To make sure that your
additional pet gets a discount choose the service that has "adtnl." in the title. You
can either click on an individual day to add or delete something or you can click the
"Quick add" button to add multiple days at once. Don't get carried away with the
Quick Ad button because if you mess up you'll have to delete each day one-by-one.

  • We can't handle last minute schedule changes so the system won't let you
schedule something within 48 hours of when you want service. If you have to
cancel something within this time you are out of luck will be charged. Please try to
plan ahead! If you need to add something within the 48 window we can't
guarantee anything, but we'll try our best to squeeze you in. Also, whatever you see
on your calender is what we see on our side, so there's no need to call and
    confirm.
  • To pay ahead of time and get up to 10% off just go to your home page and click
    "purchase prepaid services".
  • To pay afterward you will get an invoice automatically sent to you each week. You
can pay this by clicking "View/pay bill" or if you have your billing info entered then
you don't have to do anything.
  • To pay automatically just make sure your "billing info" is filled out. This is found in
your account info. Note: it may look like your credit card info didn't save, but it did.
Just make sure you enter it correctly, so we can charge your card.
Important: You can pay by credit card, pay pal, or check, but not with cash. We only
accept checks when paying afterward. You can also pay with any prepaid credits
you have. Just email us about that and we'll take care of it for you.
    5. You're done!
If you have any questions about your webpage let us know!
